![]() The Chamber Orchestra of Barrington at St. John’s, led by Music Director Edward Markward, will present the third concert of its season on Sunday, February 16 at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington. The program features trumpet soloist, Joseph Foley, Principal Trumpet of the RI Philharmonic Orchestra, in F.J. Haydn’s beautiful Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major. The orchestra opens the concert with Mozart’s delightful Overture to “Le Nozze di Figaro” and concludes the concert with Mendelssohn’s melodic classic, Symphony No. 4 in A Major (Italian). Comprised of 36 professional, community and student musicians from Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts, the ensemble was created to showcase the extensive variety of music in the chamber orchestra repertoire. The orchestra is hosted by St. John’s Episcopal Church and Jacob Stott, its director of Music. The concert is free, donations are welcome. Comments are closed.
