The Chamber Orchestra of Barrington at St. John’s
Starting with a shared dream by friends and musical colleagues to create an ensemble of the highest caliber musicians to perform the greatest works in the classical repertoire, the Chamber Orchestra Barrington at St. John’s was created in 2017. With the leadership of Edward Markward, conductor, and Jacob Stott, Director of Music at St. John’s Episcopal Church, three successful concerts were held during the inaugural season.
We are an ensemble of passionate, committed professional, amateur, and student musicians from throughout New England who have come together to share our talents and our love of music with appreciative audiences through our concerts at St. John’s.
"Life without music is unthinkable."
Leonard Bernstein
